**You send us.** Name, email, and any message you include when you contact us, nominate someone, request membership access, or ask for media materials. A nomination may also include the nominee’s name, field, living or deceased status, and supporting links.
**The site collects automatically.** Technical data such as browser type, device, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from an IP address. If the new site uses cookies or analytics, those tools may record how the pages are used.
We do not ask for payment-card numbers on the public pages described here.

Nominations
Material you submit about a nominee is used only to evaluate that nomination and, if the Society proceeds, to administer the Award or Hall of Fame. We do not publish a nominator’s name without asking. We may contact you for more detail.
Do not send sensitive documents you cannot replace. Do not send another person’s private data unless you have a good reason and the right to share it.

We share information only with:
- Officers and contractors who need it to run the Award, the site, or email
- Professional advisers (for example legal or accounting) when required
- Authorities if the law requires it
